These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using any of our websites, mobile applications, courses, stores, communities, or other services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Where a specialized policy addresses a topic in more detail, that policy controls for that topic. The Storyteller Agreement controls for Storyteller content, courses, migration, and commercial activity where it conflicts with these Terms.

### 1.1 Eligibility and Age

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use our services. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use our services. By using our services, you represent that you meet these requirements and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

### 1.2 Mature Content Notice

Some material on our platforms — including blog articles, summaries, transcripts, and suggested replies — is generated or assisted by artificial intelligence, typically derived from our own podcasts, teaching, and source material. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, and it is provided for general information only. We review AI-assisted material before publication, but we do not warrant that it is free of error. By using our services you acknowledge that AI is involved in producing some content and in operating safety and moderation systems, as described in our [Privacy Policy](/legal/privacy).

## 2\. Our Services and Covered Properties

Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates multiple web properties and services. This document applies to the properties listed in our [Covered Properties](/legal/properties) notice, which is incorporated by reference.

Across those properties and our mobile applications, our services may include:

-   Online courses, lessons, assessments, and certificates
-   Podcasts, blog articles, transcripts, and other media
-   The Story Haven faith-centered social community, on web and mobile
-   Journaling, guided steps, prayer, and reading plan features
-   An online store selling physical and digital products
-   Email newsletters, drip sequences, and text message programs
-   Accounts, profiles, and progress tracking

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time. Where a change materially reduces functionality you have paid for, we will provide reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a remedy consistent with our [Refunds & Cancellations Policy](/legal/refunds).

## 3\. Accounts and Registration

### 3.1 Creating an Account

You may register with an email address and password, or by using a third-party sign-in provider such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, or Apple. When you use a third-party provider, your use of that provider remains governed by its own terms, and we receive only the profile information described in our [Privacy Policy](/legal/privacy). You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it up to date.

### 3.2 Your Responsibilities

-   Keep your password confidential and your account secure
-   You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

### 3.3 One Account per Person; No Account Fraud

You also agree not to:

-   Use a false identity or provide false registration information
-   Impersonate any person, ministry, or organization
-   Share credentials with, or allow account access by, another person
-   Sell, rent, transfer, or assign your account to anyone else
-   Use an account for an unlawful or unauthorized purpose

Separate accounts for a legitimate, disclosed purpose — such as an organizational or ministry account operated alongside a personal account — require our prior written authorization. ## 4\. Content, Intellectual Property, and Licenses

### 4.1 Our Content

All content we provide — text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, downloads, podcasts, blog posts, course materials, software, and compilations — is owned by Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our names, logos, and marks may not be used without our prior written permission.

### 4.2 Your License to Use Our Content

Subject to these Terms and to your payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our services and to view, download, and print materials you are entitled to, solely for your own non-commercial, educational, or devotional use.

You may not:

-   Copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or publicly display our content beyond that personal use
-   Create derivative works from, or use our content to train or fine-tune machine learning models
-   Use our content commercially, including reselling or repackaging course material, without our written permission
-   Remove or obscure copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
-   Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any of our software
-   Share, sublicense, or transfer your access to paid content with anyone else
-   Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated means to access, harvest, or index our services without written permission

### 4.3 Your Content and the License You Grant Us

You retain ownership of the content you create and submit. The license you grant us depends on where you post it.

**Storyteller courses and commercial materials.** Courses, paid rooms, and other commercial materials a Storyteller hosts on The Story Haven are governed by the [Storyteller Agreement](/legal/storyteller-agreement). That Agreement's purpose-limited hosting and delivery license controls over this Section 4.3 for those materials. They are not "other user content" for promotional-license purposes.

**Other user content.** For content you submit outside The Story Haven — such as course discussion posts on Grace Unworthy or Made Whole courses, reviews, testimonials, comments on our blogs, or material you send us for publication — you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify for formatting, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display that content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving our services and ministry. You may withdraw this license as to future use by removing the content or contacting [\[email protected\]](/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection#dba8aeababb4a9af9bbca9bab8beaeb5acb4a9afb3a2f5b8b4b6); we are not required to recall copies already distributed.

You represent and warrant that, for all content you submit:

-   You own it or have all rights necessary to grant these licenses
-   It does not infringe or violate any third-party rights
-   It does not violate these Terms, [The Story Haven Community Guidelines](/legal/storyhaven-community), or applicable law
-   It does not disclose another person's private information without their consent

We may remove, restrict, label, or refuse any user content at our discretion, including through automated safety systems, but we have no obligation to monitor content and are not responsible for content submitted by users.

### 4.4 Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement and terminate repeat infringers. To submit a takedown notice or a counter-notice, and for our designated agent's contact details, see our [DMCA & Copyright Policy](/legal/dmca). Notices sent to any other address may be delayed.

### 4.5 Mobile Applications

If you install or use one of our mobile applications, including The Story Haven app, your use is additionally subject to the app store terms of the platform you downloaded it from and to our [End User License Agreement (EULA)](/legal/eula), which contains the software license and the Apple- and Google-required terms. You agree that:

-   We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use
-   You may not reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the app except where that restriction is prohibited by law or by the applicable app store terms
-   Push notifications are optional and can be disabled in device or in-app settings
-   Updates may be required for continued use, and older versions may stop working
-   Where the EULA and these Terms conflict regarding the software license, the EULA controls

## 5\. Prohibited Uses and Conduct

You agree not to use our services to:

-   Violate any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
-   Infringe intellectual property or other rights of anyone
-   Harass, threaten, abuse, defame, stalk, bully, or discriminate against any person
-   Post sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or content that exploits or endangers minors
-   Encourage self-harm or suicide, or exploit another member's trauma disclosure
-   Post false, misleading, or deceptive information
-   Upload viruses, malware, or any other harmful code
-   Collect, scrape, or track other users' personal information without consent
-   Send spam, phishing, chain messages, or unsolicited solicitations
-   Interfere with, probe, or circumvent security, rate limits, authentication, or paywalls
-   Access the services by automated means, or overload our infrastructure
-   Use our services or content for commercial purposes without authorization
-   Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation
-   Evade a suspension, ban, or block

Conduct on The Story Haven is governed in more detail by [The Story Haven Community Guidelines](/legal/storyhaven-community). Violations may result in content removal, feature restrictions, content warnings, reduced distribution, account suspension, or permanent termination.

## 6\. Courses and Enrollment

### 6.1 Course Types

-   **Free courses:** available at no charge, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time
-   **One-time purchase:** access for as long as we continue to offer the course, subject to these Terms
-   **Subscription:** access only while your subscription is active and paid

### 6.2 Access and Completion

-   Access is personal to you and may not be shared, resold, or transferred
-   You complete courses at your own pace unless stated otherwise
-   Course content may be updated, reorganized, or corrected
-   Some courses have prerequisites, sequencing rules, or assessments that must be passed to progress
-   Certificates, points, and achievements recognize completion within our platform and are not accredited credentials
-   We may discontinue a course with reasonable notice where practical

## 7\. Payments, Subscriptions, and Billing

### 7.1 Payment Terms

-   You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information and to keep it updated
-   You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for all amounts due, including recurring charges and applicable taxes
-   Prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise
-   You are responsible for sales tax, VAT, and any other applicable taxes and duties. Displayed prices are the amounts we charge at checkout. We do not currently calculate or collect sales tax or VAT at checkout; if we later must collect tax, we will disclose it before you pay.
-   Payment card data is collected and processed by our PCI-compliant payment processor; we do not store full card numbers

For Storyteller Offers processed through Story Haven Gateway, the Storyteller—not Grace Unworthy—is merchant of record. Those Customer charges settle to the Storyteller's Merchant Account under the [Storyteller Agreement](/legal/storyteller-agreement). This Section 7 applies to purchases where Grace Unworthy is the seller.

### 7.2 Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, notify you, and suspend or downgrade access until payment succeeds. We may change subscription pricing with advance notice, effective at your next renewal; if you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and cancelled through that store, subject to its rules.

### 7.3 Refunds — Summary

The following is a summary only. Full details, exceptions, and instructions are in our [Refunds & Cancellations Policy](/legal/refunds).

-   **Subscriptions:** auto-renew until cancelled; we generally do not refund unused partial subscription periods.
-   **One-time course purchases:** typically refundable within 30 days of purchase if you have accessed less than 25% of the course, at our discretion.
-   **Digital products:** typically refundable within 14 days, at our discretion.
-   **Physical products:** subject to the return window, condition requirements, and shipping rules in the refunds policy.
-   **Free courses and products:** no refund applies.

### 7.4 Credits, Points, and Promotions

-   Store credits and points have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for money
-   Credits may expire, and promotions may have their own conditions
-   We may adjust, suspend, or discontinue points and credit programs
-   Credits and points obtained through fraud, abuse, or duplicate accounts may be revoked

### 7.5 Pricing Errors and Order Refusal

We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons including product unavailability, errors in pricing or product information, suspected fraud, or violation of these Terms. If we cancel a paid order for one of these reasons, we will refund the amount charged.

## 8\. Refunds and Cancellations Policy Controls

Our [Refunds & Cancellations Policy](/legal/refunds) page is the controlling, detailed statement of our refund, cancellation, and auto-renewal practices, including eligibility windows, how to cancel, how refunds are issued, and how purchases made through a mobile app store are handled. Where the summary in Section 7.3 and the refunds policy differ, the refunds policy governs. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.

OUR SERVICES, CONTENT, AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:

-   Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement
-   Warranties that content is accurate, complete, current, or theologically or factually reliable
-   Warranties of uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation
-   Warranties regarding third-party content, links, or services
-   Warranties that AI-generated or AI-assisted output is accurate or suitable for your circumstances
-   Warranties regarding the conduct of other users or of any content they submit

We do not guarantee any particular spiritual, emotional, relational, educational, health, or financial outcome. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

## 10\. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NEITHER Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC NOR ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING:

-   Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses
-   Damages arising from unauthorized access to, alteration of, or loss of your content or data
-   Interruption, suspension, or discontinuation of the services
-   Bugs, viruses, or harmful code transmitted through the services
-   Errors, omissions, or reliance on any content, including AI output
-   The conduct of other users, including content they post or actions they take

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory asserted and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

## 11\. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, members, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:

-   Your access to or use of the services
-   Your violation of these Terms or any incorporated policy
-   Your violation of any law or of any third-party right, including intellectual property and privacy rights
-   Content you submit, post, or transmit
-   Your interactions with, or harm caused to, another user

We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your expense, and you agree to cooperate with our defense.

## 12\. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the services at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or any incorporated policy, if your conduct creates risk or legal exposure for us or other users, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using the services at any time. On termination:

-   Your right to access the services ends immediately
-   You must stop using the services and delete downloaded materials except those you are permitted to keep
-   Unused credits, points, and promotional balances are forfeited, except where prohibited by law
-   We may delete your account and associated content, subject to the retention rules in our [Privacy Policy](/legal/privacy) and [Data Deletion & Retention Policy](/legal/data-deletion)
-   You remain responsible for amounts owed and obligations incurred before termination

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses granted for content that remains posted, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law — survive.

## 13\. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

### 13.1 Informal Resolution First

Before starting a formal proceeding, you agree to contact [\[email protected\]](/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection#305c5557515c705742515355455e475f424458491e535f5d) with a written description of the dispute, the relief you seek, and your contact information. We will try in good faith to resolve it informally. Both parties agree to allow at least 60 days from receipt of that notice before beginning arbitration. This informal process is a condition precedent to filing. If the dispute arises from a Storyteller purchase, try to resolve it with the Storyteller first, as described in the [Storyteller Purchase & Release Terms](/legal/storyteller-purchase-terms). If both parties consent, a good-faith attempt under the [Biblical Dispute Resolution Policy](/legal/biblical-dispute-resolution) may satisfy this informal-resolution condition.

### 13.2 Binding Arbitration

If the dispute is not resolved informally, it will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. The arbitration will take place in the State of Florida, United States, or by video or telephone conference if you request it. The arbitrator's decision is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

### 13.3 Jury Trial and Class Action Waiver

YOU AND Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. Claims must be brought in an individual capacity only, and the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim — and only that claim — will proceed in court.

### 13.4 Exceptions

-   Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies
-   Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect intellectual property rights or to stop unauthorized access or misuse
-   Nothing here prevents you from reporting a matter to a government agency

## 14\. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and by applicable United States federal law, including the Federal Arbitration Act. For any claim not subject to arbitration, you and we consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Florida. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, the UK, or another jurisdiction whose law grants you mandatory protections, this section does not deprive you of those protections or of the right to bring proceedings where you reside.

## 15\. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect, by updating the Last Updated date at the top of this page and by providing additional notice such as an in-product message or an email to the address on your account. What is material is determined reasonably and in good faith. Continued use of the services after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the revised Terms, stop using the services and, if you wish, request account closure by emailing [\[email protected\]](/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection#bfcfcdd6c9dedcc6ffd8cddedcdacad1c8d0cdcbd7c691dcd0d2) as described in Section 12.

## 16\. Miscellaneous

### 16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the policies incorporated by reference in Section 1, are the entire agreement between you and Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC regarding the services, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings on that subject.

### 16.2 Severability

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

### 16.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later, and no waiver of any term is a continuing waiver.

### 16.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

### 16.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, outages, network or provider failures, labor disputes, or governmental action.

### 16.6 Relationship and Notices

These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship. We may send you notices by email to the address on your account, by in-product message, or by posting to our websites. ### 16.7 Headings and Interpretation

Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. "Including" means "including without limitation."

## 17\. Government and Law Enforcement Requests

We comply with valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants. Our practices for handling government requests, what categories of data can and cannot be produced, and when we notify affected users are described in our [Law Enforcement & Transparency Policy](/legal/law-enforcement). ## 18\. Mobile App License (EULA)

Your license to download, install, and run our mobile applications — including The Story Haven app on iOS and Android — is governed by our [End User License Agreement (EULA)](/legal/eula), which contains the software license grant, restrictions, and the terms required by the Apple App Store and Google Play. These Terms govern your use of the underlying services and community; the EULA governs the software itself.

## 19\. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages from us, message purpose and frequency, carrier rates, HELP and STOP instructions, and how to withdraw consent are described in our [SMS & Text Messaging Terms](/legal/sms). Message and data rates may apply, and consent to receive marketing texts is never a condition of purchase.
