In today's episode, I'm coming to you in the middle of a real and honest season. This isn't a perfectly wrapped message. It's me sharing what God is doing in my heart as I've been feeling overwhelmed and stretched.
I've realized that the heaviness I've been feeling is coming from carrying things I was never meant to carry. Trying to hold it all together. Trying to figure everything out. And in the middle of it, God has been gently inviting me back, not with pressure, but with a quiet, come back to Me.
We talk about what it looks like to release control, slow down, and trust Him even when things feel unclear. About how sometimes the weight we feel is simply a sign we're holding too much, and how His voice is found in surrender, not striving.
I also share about the Wholeness in the Wilderness retreat, happening June 25 through June 28 in the Redwoods. It's a small, intentional space to step away, slow down, and be with the Lord.
If you've been craving that kind of space, I'd love to invite you.
And if you have a story of what God is doing in your life, I would love to invite you to be a guest on the podcast. Reach out at perspectivesintopractice.com.
Friend, maybe the heaviness you're feeling isn't because you're doing something wrong.
Maybe you're just carrying something that was never yours to hold.
