Serving is not just something you sign up for. It is a heart posture. In this solo wrap up of our Serving with Purpose series, we talk about what it looks like to walk with God in the small, unseen moments that make up everyday life.
I share a few real life examples from my kids and the simple ways they described being a servant. We look at Jesus’ example, and we talk about how faith in practice shows up through patience, listening, prayer, and meeting practical needs without needing recognition. We also talk about healthy boundaries, because serving with joy is different than saying yes to everything.
We will sit with Colossians 3:23 and how our daily work can become worship when we are walking with God. I also share a story from our family’s Habitat for Humanity build and what God did in my heart, even when I could not see the finished outcome.
If you are craving a faith walk that feels honest and doable, this episode will help you shift from “I have to serve” to “I get to serve” and grow closer to God right where you are.
